Summer 2013

Summer is here, and we are slowly finding our routine.  Summer colds have come and gone....so I finally feel like summer has begun!   Keeping 6 Jellybeans off a screen has proven to be a challenge and more challenging yet when it is 110 outside.  Here are some highlights of how we spent this week when we where not killing zombies or hanging out with penguins.

Sputnik with some Colossal Cuties

What I love about summer is the freedom, so today it just felt like a day to get out of the house and hit the road.  We made a day trip down to Tucson and enjoyed a day at Colossal Cave.  It is the perfect first cave experience for the younger set and still enjoyable for us grown up kids.

Key & Necklaces Holders

Sadie and I stayed up late and made these fun little key and necklaces holders with scrapbook paper, cup hooks and some modge podge. A simple but useful project!
